Thomas D. Capasso is an attorney at Wadsworth, Margrey & Dixon, LLP. His practice focuses on all areas of civil litigation, including complex subrogation matters and insurance defense. Tom is a native New Yorker, however, after spending several family vacations in sunny Florida decided to permanently migrate south for college. Tom graduated from Florida State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Social Science, with a minor in Business and Political Philosophy. Following college, he choose to follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle by attending law school, graduating with the degree of Juris Doctor in 2013 from the Florida Coastal School of Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Thomas went on to work for several full-service law firms, specializing in insurance defense and subrogation matters. He has extensive experience in defending personal injury actions and has obtained favorable results successfully advocating for his clients throughout his tenure as an attorney. It is a truth universally acknowledged that no matter where he shows up, Tom is equipped to do battle. When Tom takes on a case, his clients reap the benefits of his considerable knowledge, intense personal investment, and most of all his ready sense of humor.
Thomas lives in Miami with his wife who is also an attorney, which is why you can be personally assured he feels the need to always have an arsenal of negotiation and tactical strategies ready to use at any given moment. When Tom can scrape together some spare time he likes to travel with his wife and practice his skills as an amateur sommelier.
